LAA Membership – Overview

The Laurentian Accounting Association (LAA) is a student-run organization dedicated to representing and serving the interests of the accounting student body at Laurentian University.

The LAA is open to any registered student of Laurentian University who is interested in pursuing a career in accounting or finance, or who is enrolled in any accounting course offered through the Faculty of Management.

The LAA Experience

As an Associate Member of the Laurentian Accounting Association, you receive valuable resources and opportunities to help you:

Stay connected to your fellow accounting students and to accounting professionals within the City of Greater Sudbury through a variety of LAA exclusive networking opportunities and events;

Become informed about the various Canadian accounting designations and the career opportunities which are available to you as a future accounting professional;

Become involved as an LAA volunteer, through one of our many event committees. We will even recognize outstanding volunteers at the end of year LAA Awards Ceremony;

Market yourself to potential employers through the LAA online forums, which are exclusively available to LAA Associate Members and affiliates of the LAA;

Be heard as an accounting student at Laurentian University. As an Associate Member, you have a vote which can directly impact the future services and activities of the Laurentian Accounting Association. We represent you and your interests!
